Tip of the Day

Do you have a website and you don't get any visitors?

Currently, my blog has almost no visitors. But I got my first follower on May 7th, 2011 (thanks, manish sharma!), because I commented on a post of his on web building. To get more visitors on your site, you should try these tips:

  • Make sure you have a blog. Then seek out blogs similar in content to yours and comment on them.
  • On your blog, you should have a sidebar. Put a link to your website on it. This way, people will easily find your site.
  • Link your site to your public profile (Twitter, Google, etc.).
  • To see the visitor stats, use a tracker like Google Analytics.
  • Post good content on your website, and don't keep it "blah, blah" and make sure it loads in less than seven seconds.
  • Check out the W3Schools Web Building Tutorial.
Let me know how it goes! It may take a month or more. I have been waiting for over two months for people to land and stay on my site. You just have to be patient. Your site is probably similar to hundreds of other sites.

A good tip.

What's been going on lately?

I'd like to announce that MouseCars has it's start! The object of the game will be to use a mouse-powered weird-looking car to destroy other weird-looking cars. There will be ways to score extra points, etc. (No, the game won't be 3D, sorry. I don't know any WebGL.) The game will be only pure JavaScript with HTML and CSS. It will use HTML5 audio.

Also, another announcement is that I have added Google Analytics tracking to my official website, www.themadcomputer.com. So if you land on my page, the data will be collected.

Also, things are going well at home. Just so you know. :)
