Tip of the Day
Do you have a website and you don't get any visitors?
Currently, my blog has almost no visitors. But I got my first follower on May 7th, 2011 (thanks, manish sharma!), because I commented on a post of his on web building. To get more visitors on your site, you should try these tips:
Currently, my blog has almost no visitors. But I got my first follower on May 7th, 2011 (thanks, manish sharma!), because I commented on a post of his on web building. To get more visitors on your site, you should try these tips:
- Make sure you have a blog. Then seek out blogs similar in content to yours and comment on them.
- On your blog, you should have a sidebar. Put a link to your website on it. This way, people will easily find your site.
- Link your site to your public profile (Twitter, Google, etc.).
- To see the visitor stats, use a tracker like Google Analytics.
- Post good content on your website, and don't keep it "blah, blah" and make sure it loads in less than seven seconds.
- Check out the W3Schools Web Building Tutorial.
Let me know how it goes! It may take a month or more. I have been waiting for over two months for people to land and stay on my site. You just have to be patient. Your site is probably similar to hundreds of other sites.
A good tip.

Tip of the Day
For the future, remember something.
When HTML5 is completely finished and most people are using HTML5-supporting versions of browsers, you'll want to completely study HTML5 validation, because it'll be easier than JavaScript.
Go ahead and try it in something like Opera 11. W3Schools has a tutorial on it here.
Just a tip. To give you a heads up on some easiness in coding. Hopefully useful.

Tip of the Day
How do you create a simple addition calculator?
Did I warn you against switching completely over to HTML5? Yes. But I did say that you can use the simple HTML5 "doctype" declaration <!DOCTYPE html> awhile.
But do you want to create a simple addition calculator? HTML5 has the answer! Make a really simple calculator with a tiny bit of script and some HTML(5). Check out W3Schools's tutorial at http://w3schools.com/html5/tag_output.asp to learn how.
Just a tip. And hopefully useful.
