Website Creating Tip

Let's pretend you just found a website. It's got really cool stuff on it, and you've never been on it before but are intrigued by the description on Google.

And then, the website opens but is slow to load. You click around but the website still will not load. Nothing works when you click on it, and some of the page content isn't even shown yet.

Frustrated, you leave the website.

This is what happens when your website has too much big content on it. You want to get visitors when you publish a website, but it doesn't help if it takes awhile to load.

To stop this, you must be cautious with your content choices. When putting an image on a page, consider the image size. When putting up a video, consider how large the video file is. If it's HD (1280x720 or bigger), the website might take extra-long to load. Other types of content like big audio files might slow down the page's speed as well.

Hope this helps.
